Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 03/03/2026
1. Introduction
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the rules for using MCPCore and applies to all users of the Service. By using MCPCore, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account.
This AUP supplements our Terms of Service. In the event of a conflict, the Terms of Service prevail.
2. Prohibited Activities
You must not use MCPCore to:
- Violate laws: Conduct, facilitate, or promote any activity that is illegal under applicable law, including data protection, export control, and consumer protection regulations.
- Infringe intellectual property: Access, copy, or distribute data or software in violation of third-party intellectual property rights.
- Distribute malware: Create, host, or distribute malicious code, ransomware, spyware, or any software designed to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorised access to systems.
- Conduct denial-of-service attacks: Use the Service to send excessive requests to third-party systems, disrupt services, or conduct any form of network attack.
- Spam: Send unsolicited bulk email, messages, or any form of spam through tools built on MCPCore.
- Harvest data without consent: Scrape, crawl, or extract data from third-party websites or services in violation of their terms of service or applicable law.
- Impersonate: Impersonate any person, organisation, or system, or misrepresent the source or nature of your tools.
- Circumvent access controls: Attempt to bypass authentication, rate limits, or other security controls on MCPCore or any third-party service.
- Abuse the platform: Create excessive numbers of accounts, artificially inflate usage metrics, or otherwise abuse the Service in a way that degrades performance for other users.
- Process prohibited content: Use the Service to process, store, or transmit content that is defamatory, obscene, threatening, hateful, or otherwise objectionable under applicable law.
3. Tool and API Restrictions
When building tools on MCPCore, you are responsible for ensuring that:
- Your tools comply with the terms of service of any third-party API or service they access (e.g., OpenAI, GitHub, Stripe, database providers).
- You have the right to access and process any data your tools handle, including any personal data subject to data protection laws.
- Your tools do not introduce security vulnerabilities (e.g., SQL injection, command injection) that could compromise the security of the platform or third-party systems.
- Secrets stored in MCPCore are used only for legitimate purposes within your tools and are not exposed, shared, or exfiltrated.
4. Rate Limits
Each plan includes a monthly request quota. You must not attempt to circumvent these limits by any means, including creating multiple accounts. If you require higher limits, please upgrade your plan or contact us to discuss an Enterprise plan.
We reserve the right to throttle or temporarily suspend access if your usage adversely impacts the Service for other users, regardless of your plan's stated limits.
5. Consequences of Violations
Violations of this AUP may result in one or more of the following actions, at our sole discretion:
- A written warning
- Suspension of your account or specific tools
- Permanent termination of your account
- Referral to law enforcement where required by law
- Civil action to recover losses caused by your violation
